Why have all the AM5 mobos lost PCIe slots in favor of marshmallow fluff options I’ll never use? I would like at a minimum one 4.0 x16 and two 3.0 x8 without having to downgrade the primary PCIe slot. Does anyone know of such an offering? No, I don’t want another Threadripper, that’s overkill! I have an ASUS PRIME X570-PRO, I want an ASUS PRIME X870-PRO with the same PCIe layout, does anything like that exist? Doesn’t have to be ASUS. The design decisions for the AM5 leaves me baffled.
